Our dispensary offers a complete dispensing service. Government regulations allow only patients who live more than a mile from a chemist to have their prescriptions dispensed from the medical centre/surgery. Non-dispensing patients may elect to collect their prescriptions or preferably to have their prescriptions sent direct to a chemist of their choice for collection at a convenient time.

Queries

Our dispensers can answer many of your questions about your medication and will always endeavour to help you. Sometimes the dispenser may need to discuss the query with a doctor, if this is the case they will inform you of this and explain when a comprehensive reply will be available for you.

We do not sell over-the-counter medicines, if you require products that can be bought over-the-counter, please check with a local pharmacy.

Ordering of drugs

Any medication prescribed by the doctor in clinic for a dispensing patient will be put through immediately, we keep as many of the common drugs in stock as possible but sometimes we may have to order items especially for you, our dispensers will inform you when these will be available and if there is likely to be a delay.

Please allow 5 working days to process your request for a repeat prescription.

Unused Medication

Please do not store any unused medicines. Return them to the Dispensary for safe disposal. A specialist waste-disposal company collects and discards them from the Surgery.
